Captain Steve is a pioneer of sport fishing for giant lingcod (Ophiodon elong-atus).

Where and how we fish for them are trade secrets; the pictures should show you what is possible.

We are fairly certain a few of our lucky fishermen have landed world record lingcod before releasing them.

They get their incredible size and unbelievable taste from their diet of wild alaskan king salmon; the same salmon we pursue almost year round!

We know when, where and how to catch lingcod that are unlike any you've ever caught before!

Our boats are equipped to handle the biggest lingcod and giant halibut that Alaska can throw at us.

We'll use huge lures and big bait in fishing holes untouched by commercial or other sport fishing boats.

Your catch will be filleted, packaged and chilled or frozen for your return trip (filets can be three to four feet long!). We'll ship what you can't carry.

The lodge offers a complete fish smoking service; lingcod can be very good when smoked.
